Established in 1976, ACR has provided quality specialty piece-part repair and repair development to customers worldwide. As well as OHM repairs, ACR has earned a reputation for developing unique repairs and salvaging parts. The current ownership has run ACR since 1986.
Shop
ACR’s facility is located in a spacious building within a modern, high-tech, industrial complex in Valencia, California. The new facility is clean, spacious, and well-organized meeting both FAA and EASA requirements.
Inspection
In-Coming, In-Process, and Final inspection Operations are performed in ACR’s Specially built Inspection Room. As a “Check & Balance”, all Level III Inspections are performed by a Certified Inspection Sub-Contractor. This enables ACR to assure our Customers the Absolute Best Quality.
Weld Shop
ACR has extensive experience in the art of Tig welding.
ACR’s weld shop can handle most kinds of metals/alloys including Stainless Steel, Inconel, Aluminum, Magnesium and Titanium.
ACR also has both Inertia and Electron Beam Welding capabilities.
Machinist
ACR also has a group of highly trained and motivated machinists working on a myriad of equipment; such as lathes, mills, NC Jig Grinders (shown on the right), Presses, etc. Their combined work experience and expertise is exemplified by the superior workmanship of each ACR Repaired or reclaimed part that is sent back to the customer.
Unique Piece-Part Repair
Because ACR uses primarily manual machines (we only have one CNC machine) we are able to pay extra attention to ensuring that the parent material is as unaffected by the repair process as possible unlike other “cookie cutter” repair shops who standardize all of their repairs.
Speciality Machines
Two Electro-Discharge Mill (EDM) machines are just a couple of the many Specialty Machines that ACR uses in the repair
process. ACR has two EDM Machines as well as several other
Specialty Machines to aid in the day-to-day repair work performed. ACR has developed a large variety of special tooling and equipment to accomplish any task.
