Aircraft Component Repair Frequently Asked Questions
Why are broadcast news reporters and news presenters allowed to express their feelings to their audiences?
Some of these broadcasters react to the stories they present after presenting them. For example, one would say, “That’s crazy”. Some would express their feelings through inflections. These sorts of feelings are expressed openly on a regular basis during the local TV newscasts available in my area of residence.
I’m sorry that your talking heads aren’t robots.
Generally, the news reporters and presenters are part of the brand of the news channel in general. As such, their feelings is part of that branding (depending on the recognition with the viewer or audience), and them expressing their feelings is therefore marketing.

What is it about Psalm 8, what idea or attitude does it express, that would seem to you to account for its fame in Western Culture?
God speaks through His word and therefore, as with any part of His word, it only conveys to the one who hears Him.
All others make up their own ideas as to what ideas or attitudes they substitute for hearing God.
But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Does not ‘proceedeth out of the mouth of God’ mean freshly spoken to the individual’s ear?
So who hears Him?
How do I properly import videos to Final Cut Express?
I am importing a video from an iMovie cache, but when it shows up in the timeline, parts of the video are just completely black, while others are just fine. Any ideas what can be the problem?
Simply don’t use iMovie cache files. They are for internal purposes within iMovie. You can import Event clips into Final Cut, though.
IMovie can export Final Cut XML files, although this is for raw cuts only, omitting effects/transitions. If you want to use a fully rendered iMovie project, choose Share>Export using QuickTime, and use export settings that minimize quality loss: in the video settings, choose either Apple Intermediate Codec (for HD) or the Animation codec (set quality to ‘Best’) for compression, use uncompressed PCM for audio, and make sure the export frame size doesn’t exceed the frame size of the imported event clips. (Open the clips in QuickTime Player and press Cmd-i to check their actual frame size.)
FCE can also import iMovie project files directly (File>Import>Files…), but leaves out parts of effects applied: “Final Cut Express does not import iMovie sound effects, audio levels, or transitions. All other applied effects are imported.” (FCE manual p.210)
