Anyone with experience with A2B Electric Bikes or others?

Anyone have any experience with the A2B Electric Bikes?

http://www.ultramotor.com/us/product/

I’m thinking of getting one (or other brands if you have any other recommendations to look at) to ride to work, I’m about 12 miles from work and with some power-assist it would help be get there faster and not as sweaty as if I completely rode 12 miles on my mountain bike. (I’ve ridden to work before but my old house was 4 miles from work, now I’ll be 12 miles away)

Not sure yet if I want the Hybrid or Metro model..

But in general, I’m wondering how these bikes are on ONLY peddle power? For example, say I want to mainly ride on my own peddle power and then use the electric motor once I get tired (either with or without peddling, although peddling shouldn’t be too hard if power-assisted even if I’m tired)

I’m concerned with the bike being heavy (55 lbs or so I believe) how hard it is to peddle..

Anyone with experience on these or other electric bikes?

I have a motorcycle so I’m not looking for only a scooter.. I want the exercise but at the same time 12 miles is too much for me to only peddle to work, especially here in the heat of South Florida.

Thanks

admin answers:

I would ride the motorcycle to work and buy a nice road bike for the $2,300 that bike would cost you. You can travel at 15 mph very easily on a road bike, that’s the max speed on the hybrid and you would have a $1,000 or so left over. If you want to get exercise do it after work when it won’t hurt to sweat a little.

How to sabotage an old air conditioner?

Hi, we rent a house with a 10 year old A/C that is a total piece of crap. When it’s really hot (mid 80′s or above) it runs all day and never cools below 78/79 degrees. It has frozen up on us several times, loses Freon, and my bill is nearly $400 a month in the summer. The motor was just recently replaced but it’s no better than before. The landlord tells me “that’s just how they work in Florida” and that 78 degrees is the coolest I should expect. I know that isn’t true. He can write off repairs but refuses to replace the unit until it dies, so I’d like to help it along. icon smile Aircraft Component Repair Frequently Asked Questions I want it really dead though so they can’t just come in and attempt to repair a part of it. Thanks.

He may not have enough money to replace it ,then the joke is on you.

Yahoo Answers official most desireable and least desireable nba teams to play for?

30.Toronto-why does an american athlete want to become a nobody and play in canada?
29.Utah-unless your mormon, this place will not be fun for you
28.Minnesota-hockey state, way too cold
27.Milwaukee-Wisconsin isnt exactly a media hot spot
26.Denver-the mile high city is hard to breath in, very boring to live in
25.Portland-rains too much, very little excitement in the northwest
24.Indiana-the cradle state of the sport isnt enough to have players oozing to play there
23.Charlotte-who wants to play in a state where its college teams are more well known and successful than the pro team
22.Memphis-great city, great nightlife, too bad not too many people care about basketball in the state of tennessee
21.Oklahoma City-the sooner state bleeds pride in their sports teams, hinting at their universities football team and… not the thunder
20.San Antonio-remember the alamo indeed but if it wasnt for the great teams theyve had….this would be another forgotten franchise
19.Sacramento-yes it is the capital of california but we all know L.A. and S.F. are the states pride and joy. its also nicknamed “cow town” which doesnt sound very intriguing
18.New Jersey-yeah theyre supposively moving to brooklyn. but theyre stuck in jersey for now. great diners in the garden state though
17.Golden State-aka Oakland California isnt exactly the hamptons. rough city thats produced numerous athletes with little high class neighborhoods
16.Detroit-the motor city also has some ghetto attached to the franchise which is too bad because detroit is a great city
15.Cleveland-yes the midwest is the heart of america but cleveland’s not a big market which has proven to be a big dilemna for the franchise when trying to sign and trade for players
14.Phoenix-yes phoenix has the great desert weather, but arizona is heaven for party crazy college students not basketball players
13.Washington-nations capitol is burried with history but far from destination choice numero uno
12.New Orleans-the vulnerable hurricane hot spot is still a crackin place to live, eat, play and relax
11.LAC-yes your the forgotten team of the city.in fact UCLA gets more love, but your still in L.A. it could be worse
10.Orlando-great florida weather.too bad its seen as second fiddle compared to miami.however the kids love disneyworld.
9.Atlanta-known as the capitol of the south. the little success that has came with the franchise has hurt their rank. dont see too many complaints when players land there though
8.Dallas-theyre not the cowboys but they always seem to compete, good sports city, good fans
7.Philadelphia-the city and state puts the pressure on its teams no doubt but Philly is the land of Rocky and cheesesteaks.hard to compete with

5.Chicago-who wouldnt want to play in the house that michael built? the windy city also has some good food i hear

2.New York-yes the epicenter of our country. it is the be all end all. MSG,time square, the big apple new york has it all.however the knicks arent the yankees and the arena they play in is has more history than their franchise
1.LAL-combine a great city that is the New York of the West with the tradition similar to the Celtics and thats the lakers.most hated nba franchise, most loved franchise. you can be on a below 500. laker benchwarmer team and the whole basketball world will still know who you are. look at smush parker. he soaked up his 15 minutes of fame with the lakeshow
whats your order

admin answers:

Great list and examples. I would rate Utah, Minnesota and Denver a little higher for the skiing and postcard views in winter. OKC is in the middle of nowhere, wouldn’t want to be in Crime City (Oakland OR Detroit) for a night game. Some of your lower ranked teams (Utah, Portland) have more loyal fans than those ranked higher (New York, Washington).

Laura Aircraft Component Repair Frequently Asked Questions

Laura asks…

What are your opinions on my chapter?

Reese wandered through the cornfield with tears streaming down her face. She hadn’t stopped crying since she got home. The best place to cry at was the cornfield. The cornfield was a place Reese went to relieve stress from her body. It was the place that made Reese feel at home. Whenever her mother started getting depressed, she would go visit the cornfield behind her house. She found an open area and sat down on the ground. Her hands were trembling as she tried to take a tissue from her purse. Her motor skills weren’t working right now so she had to just sit and cry.
Palma had cancer. That was something that couldn’t be stopped. Palma had cancer. That was all that played in her head. Palma had cancer. Reese couldn’t take it anymore. She had to tell someone. Her sister Savannah was at cheer practice and her mother was at the therapist. It was just her and the corns surrounding her. Andy’s face still burned in her brain as she let the tears flow. Her eyes opened and shut over and over again. She had tried to tell Andy what was going on, but she couldn’t. She didn’t have the heart to. Andy had seemed to like Palma so much that Reese didn’t want to break him from his happiness. But Andy had to know eventually. Cancer wasn’t something that could be kept a secret. Someone needed to help her.
Reese put her hands over her face, blinding herself from the world. A second later, she heard a sweet chirping sound. Slowly uncovering her eyes, she looked around. Then she found where the noise was coming from. Sitting next to her was a tiny sparrow. Reese was confused by the bird’s presence. It was almost winter. Shouldn’t the bird have flown to Florida or somewhere warm? Reese wondered why the bird was still in her backyard. It should have been with his other family members.
“Hi,” Reese said quietly, cupping the bird in her hands. “Where’s your mommy?”
Reese figured the bird must have been left behind. It was probably on his way to the south when he got lost. That made Reese feel even more depressed. The bird was all alone in the cold weather looking for a home. She decided she was going to give him a home.
Inside her bedroom, she put the bird in her shoebox for a place for him to sleep in. The bird chirped quietly as Reese fed him sunflower seeds. Darrow would be his name. Darrow the sparrow. And for now Reese would be his mother.
“Reese?” her sophomore sister Savannah asked.
Reese turned around to find her sister standing outside her door. She was wearing her Racers cheerleading uniform and had her hair pulled up into a ponytail. Both Reese and Savannah did cheerleading because of their mother. Caitlin McKinley used to be a professional cheerleader when she was only nineteen. Which was why Caitlin encouraged them to follow in her footsteps. But Reese wanted to do more than just cheerlead. She wanted to be a marine biologist and study animals in the ocean. The ocean perked her interest. Everything about the ocean interested her. There was no doubt in her mind that wanted to study it.
“Are you okay?” Savannah asked concernedly, stepping into her bedroom.
“Yes.” lied Reese. “I just brought in a bird.”
“Why?” Savannah asked, crinkling her nose. “You can’t take care of that bird.”
“I can and I will.” Reese said simply. “It’s almost winter. He’s gonna die.”
“Mom’s gonna freak.” sang Savannah.
Reese glared at her. As if her mother could care if she had a bird or not. Ever since her husband died, she had been a walking tragedy. She used to be beautiful with her long, blond hair, deep blue eyes, and soft skin. Now she was a shadow of her former self. Reese missed the preppy cheerleader from the eighties who used to wow men from across the country. Reese wanted that woman back. Reese wanted the woman who used to scream whenever she got excited or give Reese tickles whenever she felt like it. That’s what she missed.
“As if she would care.” mumbled Reese. “Can I be alone for a while?”
“Sure.” said Savannah, turning to leave the room. “Just call me when you need anything.”
Savannah was the person Reese talked when she was feeling horrible. Savannah and Reese were close sisters that looked after each other. They even looked alike with their brown eyes and tanned skin. Accept Savannah had brown hair and Reese had blond hair. they got their father’s looks more than their mothers. The beauty came from the mother, but the face came from the father. That’s why Caitlin always spent time with her daughters. They reminded her of her husband.
When Savannah left, Reese started coddling the bird. The bird pecked at her gently as if trying to kiss her. She fed him more bird sees, kissing his feathers on his body. Suddenly her phone rang. She picked up without even looking at the screen.
