What are some part time jobs I can make a living at?
In the current economy and job market, I’ve been having a difficult time finding a full time job in my career field. I’m thinking about taking a weekly part time job or two that might earn enough income to live comfortably on. Has anyone else done something like this, and what kind of jobs (preferably entry level) would work?

What kind of skills do you have?
There is many restaurants that are always hiring.
You could try working at the Post Office, or be an employee for a shipping company (USP, Fedex, etc)
Also, you could try becoming an apprentice at a job. You’ll be able to learn the tricks of the trade and slowly move up the ladder.

I’ve been working at a fast food place for over 2 years and I HATE it. I’ll be 18 in a few months and was wondering what some good part time jobs were? I’m still in high school btw.

What are some good part time jobs for family studies major?
I’m a Junior Family Studies Major at Towson University in MD. I’m currently working at a restaurant as a hostess and want to find something that will prepare me more for a career after I graduate. My track is Services to Youth and Children and I want to work with younger kids, possibly with Child Protective Services. Besides daycare, which I’ve worked at before and am looking into now, what are some other ideas for part time jobs that will relate to my area of study/future career?

Haha i remember my aftercare teachers. At my first school i didn’t like the aftercare teacher so much, but at the school i went to for 5/6th grade both the aftercare teachers were AWESOME!!!

What are good part time jobs with good pay?
What are good part time jobs? I am very intelligent(4.0) and I tend to connect with people well when doing business, so what are good part time jobs with the best pay? About the only things I can not and will not do is clean or work in a fast food place. I basically just want to build up money for my trip next summer and make a few grand on the side to invest.

Most part-time jobs pay minimum wage to start. If you can find a job with a not-for-profit, they pay better by a mile, or, if you connect with people well, try something in sales where you can earn commission on top of your wage.
